FAISALABAD – Pakistan – Pakistan’s domestic women’s cricket calendar is set to heat up as the National Women’s One-Day Tournament begins on November 14. The competition will see five teams face off over 21 matches, running through December 6, across multiple venues in Faisalabad.
Teams competing in the tournament include the defending champions Stars, along with Conquerors, Strikers, Challengers, and Invincibles. The event will follow a double round-robin format, culminating in a final to decide the champion. Winners of the tournament will take home a cash prize of Rs1.5 million, while the runners-up will receive Rs1 million. Individual accolades, such as Player of the Match and Player of the Tournament, carry additional rewards.
The tournament aims to provide a platform for emerging talent, with all five squads having already assembled for preparatory sessions. Matches will be held at key venues, including Iqbal Stadium, the PCB High Performance Centre Ground, and the Jawad Club Cricket Ground, offering fans a chance to witness the next generation of Pakistan’s women cricketers in action.
