Prime Minister Imran Khan has said regulatory authorities have a pivotal role to play for the protection of rights of people.
Chairing a meeting of heads of regulatory authorities in Islamabad, Prime Minister said regulators have to protect public interests by ensuring effective monitoring and compliance of the legal and regulatory requirements.
The Prime Minister stressed upon the effective role of regulatory authorities to keep a check on cartels and mafias.
He directed all the regulators to ensure fairness and quality of services to develop the sectors they are regulating.
Meanwhile, Chairing the first ever meeting of the advisory board of the National Rehmatul-lil-Alameen Authority in Islamabad, Prime Minister said the Rehmatul-lil-Alameen Authority will help implement teachings and life of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Khatim-un-Nabiyeen Sallallaho Alaihe Wa Alayhee Wa Ashabehi Wassalm in practical life.
He said the authority is aimed at creating awareness among the youth about the life of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Khatim-un-Nabiyeen Sallallaho Alaihe Wa Alayhee Wa Ashabehi Wassalm so that they can follow it
