RAWALPINDI : Pakistan beat Zimbabwe by 8-wickets in the third Twenty20 International to clean sweep the series on Tuesday. The hosts reached the target set by Zimbabwe in the 16th over to secure the series.
Spinner Usman Qadir was awarded the Man of the Match award for his outstanding bowling performance in the first inning. Opener Abdullah Shafique top-scored for Pakistan with 41 runs off 33 balls. He hit 4 fours and 1 six in his inning. Khushdil Shah supported his efforts with a quick-fire 36 off 15 balls, hitting 3 sixes and 3 fours.
Zimbabwe had set a humble target of 130 for the hosts to chase down in the first inning. The visitors managed to score 129 runs after losing quick wickets initially.
