DELHI: Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma, who is a famous Bollywood actress, have been blessed with a baby girl on Monday.

Virat turned to twitter to share good news with the fans and wrote, “We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon".

Thanking everyone for their love prayers and good wishes, the 32-year old cricketer said that his wife and baby both are healthy.

“We are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of their lives, we hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Love, Virat,” he concluded.
