ANKARA: Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan says US sanctions imposed on Ankara over its acquisition of Russian defence systems will fail.
In a televised video conference address, Erdogan said sanctions showed a hostile stance by United States against its NATO ally but problems created by them would be overcome.
Erdongan said United States has imposed sanctions with an aim of deterring Ankara’s defence industry efforts.
