LAHORE: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi says the government will continue to stand with the state institutions which are being made controversial by the opposition to achieve its negative objectives.
He expressed these views during a meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar in Lahore, in which they discussed political situation and South Punjab secretariat issues.
The Foreign Minister said those engaged in a tirade against the state institutions are not loyal to the nation.
Both leaders strongly condemned opposition’s campaign of defaming the institutions and expressed the commitment that every conspiracy would be countered and no compromise would be made on the respect of the institutions.
They said the government is fulfilling the promises made with people of south Punjab.
