KARACHI: Pakistan Stock Exchange above the 98,000 mark on Friday as share prices surged more than 2,000 points in intraday trade
President Dr. Arif Alvi has reiterated Pakistan's resolve to enhance cooperation with Turkey in various fields for mutual benefits of the two brotherly countries.
He was talking to the visiting Commander of Turkish Land Forces, General Umit DUNDAR, who called on him in Islamabad.
The President said there exist huge opportunities for increasing cooperation between the two countries in the areas of trade, defence and culture.
Highlighting the brutalities of Indian army against innocent people of the Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, he urged international community to play its role for resolving the Kashmir issue in accordance with UN Security Council resolutions.
The President also reiterated Islamabad's concern about the involvement of India in terrorist activities and using the soil of Afghanistan against Pakistan.
