MUZAFFARABAD: Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Sardar Masood Khan has lauded Saudi Arabia for its continued support to Pakistan's stance on Kashmir from the platform of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
In separate interviews with US-based Muslim Network TV and Saudi Arabia's daily Arab News, he rejected the impression of withdrawal of support by Saudi Arabia to Pakistan's stance on the Kashmir issue.
Masood Khan said in the recent meeting of the OIC Foreign Ministers Council in Niger, the kingdom once again robustly explained its stand on the dispute and highlighted it on the global level.
He said Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal Bin Farhan, in his address to the OIC conference, stated in unequivocal terms that peace and security of South Asia is not possible without settlement of the Kashmir conflict.
The AJK president said the statement by Prince Faisal is more significance because Saudi Arabia is the current chair of the OIC.
