PC-1 of 360km long Peshawar to D.I.Khan Motorway finalized for scrutiny, approval

PESHAWAR: The preliminary PC-1 of three-hundred and sixty-kilometer long Peshawar to Dera Ismail Khan Motorway has been finalized for further scrutiny and approval. 

According to details, the project will be completed at an estimated cost of two-hundred and fifty-billion rupees.

The six-lane motorway includes nineteen interchanges and one-hundred and ten bridges.  It will start from the Chamkani area of Peshawar and pass through Darra Adam Khel, Kohat, Hangu, Karak, Bannu and Lakki Marwat to reach the last southern district D.I.Khan.

It is worth mentioning that Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan had given approval to this key communication project last year on the demand of people of southern districts.
