QUETTA: At least nine alleged terrorists have been killed and three others injured in an intelligence-based operation in Seha Koh area of Kohlu district on Saturday.
The military’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations, in a statement, said the terrorists belonging to BLA(H) were involved in the Kohlu bazaar bombing, which claimed two lives and left 19 others wounded on September 30.
Security forces were in search of the culprits, who were also involved in at-tacking personnel, kidnapping for ransom, targeting engineers and labourers working on development projects.
Acting on intelligence reports that terrorists were planning to launch attacks in Kohlu, Kahan and Mawad areas of the district, security forces launched an operation against them in the mountainous area.
In an ensuing heavy gun battle, the nine alleged terrorists were killed and three others were injured. All the three were taken into custody, while the search operation continued in the area.
