LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar will inaugurate a double decker bus in Rawalpindi today.
This important initiative will provide affordable and best travel facilities to tourists. In his latest statement, the Chief Minister said that the double decker bus was a gift of the government to the citizens of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
It may be recalled that a test trip of a double decker bus was conducted on August 16. The test journey of the bus started from Allama Iqbal Park in Rawalpindi and passed through Faizabad, Faisal Masjid, Blue Area, Shahra-e-Dastur, Rose Jasmine Garden and and ended at Allama Iqbal Park.
The bus fare is likely to be Rs 400 per person. A bus terminal will be set up in Rawalpindi soon and journey will cover a distance of 30 km for which tickets will be issued online.
