Kim Taehyung becomes second celeb to have birthday ad on Burj Khalifa
SEOUL: Vocalist of leading South Korean band BTS, Kim Taehyung (V) has become the second celebrity after bollywood king Shahrukh Khan to have a pre-birthday ad on Burj Khalifa.
As per details, Chinese fans of BTS' V collected over one million dollars for Kim Taehyung's birthday which is on 30th December and made him feature on Burj Khalifa.
It almost took 68K USD for a single 3 minutes' display on the skyscraper, whereas his fan base collected a total of 7 million Yuan in just 80 days.
Kim has now made history by being the first ever Korean idol to have a three-minute birthday ad on Dubai’s iconic skyscraper and World tallest building.
The cost to place a promotional advert or message on Burj Khalifa starts from 68,073 dollars for a single three minute display.
Besides dozens of hit songs to his credit V has also stared in a historic Korean drama named ‘Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth’.
