ICC's new Test rankings; Virat Kohli drops to third place


DUBAI: International Cricket Council (ICC) has issued the latest rankings in Test bowling and batting with New Zealand's Steven Smith replacing India's Virat Kohli at the number two spot.

Kiwi skipper Kane Williamson retains the top spot in batting and Steve Smith took second place by replacing India’s Virat Kohli who has dropped to the third spot. 

New Zealand’s Le Boschin is fourth while Pakistan's Babar Azam remained fifth and Englishman Ben Stokes is sixth.

For ICC’s latest bowling update, the top four positions have not changed from previous as Pete Cummins is first, Stuart Broad is second, Neil Wagner is third and Tim Southee is fourth.

Australia's Hazelwood is fifth. 

Meanwhile, no Pakistani player included top ten in the list of bowlers.
