MUZAFFARABAD: The Azad Kashmir government has decided to impose a strict lockdown for two weeks from May 18, a notification has been issued in this regard.
In Azad Kashmir, it has been decided to tighten the lockdown due to the increasing number of patients infected with the corona virus and the rush of buyers in the markets. He said grocery shops and medical stores will be allowed to operate as per schedule finalised by the AJK government. The AJK Premier also announced the suspension of transport until Eidul Fitr, and appealed to citizens not to leave their houses unnecessarily.
