ISLAMABAD: Despite a global outbreak of the corona virus, remittances from Pakistanis living in the United States rose 54 percent in April from a year earlier.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan, Pakistanis living in the United States sent US Dollars 3.282 billion to the country in the first 10 months of the current fiscal year, from July 2019 to April 2020. In April 2020, Pakistanis living in States remitted US$ 401.91 million. This rate is 54% higher than in April last year.
