ISLAMABAD – Senator Mushahid Hussain has praised the growing cooperation between Pakistan’s skilled workforce and China’s advanced technology, calling their collaboration an “invincible wall” that can safeguard peace and stability across South Asia.
Speaking at a technology forum in Islamabad, Mushahid emphasized the combined strength of Pakistan’s engineering talent and China’s tech capabilities. He said this partnership not only promotes innovation and job creation at home but also contributes to regional security by deepening economic interdependence.
He highlighted recent joint ventures—spanning AI research, smart city initiatives, and digital infrastructure projects—as tangible examples of this strategic bond. Large-scale initiatives, including joint investments in telecom networks and data centers, were cited as evidence of sustained progress.
Mushahid also noted that this alliance sends a powerful geopolitical message: nations connected through shared technological growth are less likely to engage in conflict. With South Asia facing strategic uncertainties, such economic alliances can foster peaceful collaboration and discourage aggression.
The senator urged Pakistani policymakers to remain committed to this path, recommending continued investments in STEM education, tech incubators, and regulatory frameworks that encourage private-sector participation.
