LOS ANGELES: Pop-rock band Maroon 5 have announced the release of their long-awaited album Start Again, alongside plans for a major international tour set to begin later this year.

The album, their first original studio work in nearly four years, features twelve new tracks exploring themes of renewal, love, and resilience. Lead single “Echoes”, released last month, has already attracted attention for its smooth guitar hooks and energetic chorus, hinting at the band’s refreshed sonic direction.

Following the album drop, Maroon 5 will embark on a 30-city tour spanning North America, Europe, and Asia. Pakistani fans may have to wait, as the band has yet to confirm any concerts in South Asia—though organisers say Pakistan dates are being considered.

Frontman Adam Levine described Start Again as “a fresh chapter for all of us,” citing global uncertainty and creative reinvigoration during lockdown as key influences. The band’s social media, meanwhile, has been teasing the tracklist with short behind-the-scenes clips and lyric snippets.

Industry analysts say the tour will likely feature new stage designs, visual backdrops, and a setlist that blends Start Again tracks with classic hits like “This Love” and “Moves Like Jagger.” Pre-sales are expected to open soon, with VIP packages and meet-and-greet options likely available.

With renewed creativity and a world tour in motion, Start Again signals Maroon 5’s intent to reconnect deeply with fans while showcasing their growth after years away from the spotlight.
