GAZA: Israeli forces have attacked a residential building in Gaza City, killing at least four people and wounding three others, Al Jazeera Arabic report.
The attack followed an earlier deadly air raid on a ruined mosque at the Shati refugee camp, which is also in Gaza City. At least 20 people were killed in that attack.
The Israeli military had ordered Palestinians last week to immediately leave Gaza City, in the besieged north of the Gaza Strip, where some 300,000 people were estimated to have remained.
Malaysia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has “strongly condemned” Israel’s “relentless attacks against Palestinians”, including yesterday’s attack on the al-Mawasi camp.
“This heinous and appalling attack, which took place inside an area Israel designated itself as a safe zone for Palestinians, is a flagrant disregard for all human life,” the ministry said in a statement shared on X.
The ministry also called on the international community to take “immediate and decisive actions to end the Israeli regime’s egregious violations and hold its leaders accountable for crimes against humanity”.
