ABU DHABI / DUBAI – Cricket fans, mark your calendars! The Asia Cup 2025 is officially scheduled to take place in the United Arab Emirates from September 9 to 28, featuring top Asian cricketing nations in a high-stakes T20 format.
Hosted across Abu Dhabi and Dubai, the tournament promises electrifying action with a total of 19 matches, including a blockbuster clash between India and Pakistan on September 14. If both teams advance, they could face each other up to three times, including potential rematches in the Super Four and final.
The event will bring together eight teams: India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, UAE, Oman, and Hong Kong. While India holds the official hosting rights, the UAE was selected as a neutral venue due to ongoing regional sensitivities.
The Asia Cup serves as a key warm-up ahead of the T20 World Cup 2026, raising the stakes and excitement even further.
