ISLAMABAD – Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has pledged to enhance Pakistan’s relations with Egypt and Algeria by pursuing broader and deeper cooperation across multiple sectors. Speaking during meetings with high-level officials from both countries, Dar emphasized Islamabad’s commitment to reinforcing diplomatic, economic, and development partnerships.
In talks with Egyptian counterparts, Dar outlined a framework for collaboration in trade, infrastructure, and technology, highlighting the mutual benefits of joint industrial ventures and knowledge exchange. He stressed Pakistan’s readiness to engage in long-term development projects aligned with shared goals, including infrastructure modernization and capacity building.
Dar also held discussions with Algerian officials, where he proposed expanding cooperation in energy, agriculture, and education.
