WASHINGTON – Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir has arrived in the United States for a series of high-level engagements with senior American political and military leaders.
According to official sources, the visit aims to strengthen bilateral defence and security cooperation, with discussions expected to cover regional stability, counterterrorism, and Pakistan-US military ties.
This is General Munir’s second trip to the US in recent months, reflecting the continued importance of military diplomacy between the two countries. His meetings will reportedly include discussions at the Pentagon and with top policymakers in Washington.
