RAWALPINDI – Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir met with the United Kingdom’s Chief of the General Staff, General Sir Roly Walker, at the General Headquarters to strengthen bilateral defence cooperation.
During the meeting, both commanders discussed enhancing training collaboration, joint military exercises, and intelligence-sharing mechanisms to bolster strategic relations between Pakistan and the UK.
General Walker appreciated Pakistan’s role in regional stability and counterterrorism, while General Munir reaffirmed the army’s commitment to expanding defence partnerships with allied nations.
The discussions also covered evolving global security challenges, with emphasis on knowledge exchange and capacity building between the two forces.
