KARACHI, Pakistan: The drive for gender inclusion in Pakistan’s corporate world is gaining powerful momentum, as leading organizations have been recognized at the 3rd IFC-PBC Gender Diversity Awards 2024 for their efforts in reshaping workplaces with equality at the core.
Among the standout winners, Jazz emerged at the top, securing a 100% score across 15 categories to claim the title of Most Inclusive Company of the Year. This recognition highlights its policies on fair representation, leadership opportunities for women, and long-term cultural integration of diversity.
Mobilink Bank also earned its place among the Top 10 Inclusive Companies, acknowledged for initiatives such as the Women Inspirational Network, MobilinkHER returnship programme, and an innovative Inheritance Calculator to support women’s financial rights. Beyond policy, Mobilink Bank demonstrated measurable progress by reducing its gender pay gap from 11% to just 2%, and raising female hiring numbers from 24% to 26%.
Meanwhile, P&G Pakistan was honoured at the 7th OICCI Women Empowerment Awards, taking the prestigious Champion title and induction into the Hall of Fame. The accolade reflects its consistent leadership in boosting women’s participation at senior levels, creating inclusive policies, and extending its impact to community-driven projects.
The awards signal a larger shift: gender diversity is no longer just a social responsibility but a competitive advantage in Pakistan’s corporate sector. With visible improvements in policies, representation, and measurable outcomes, these companies are not only setting industry benchmarks but also inspiring others to follow suit.
