PAKISTAN: Pakistani cinema is gearing up for a major Eid treat as Bilal Ashraf and Maya Ali unite for the much-anticipated action-drama Khan Tumhara. The film, packed with high-octane sequences and gripping emotions, is all set to dominate the Eid ul Azha box office with its powerful storytelling and stellar performances.
Produced by Bilal Ashraf, Momina Duraid, and director Mohammed Ehteshamuddin, Khan Tumhara tells the intense story of Yusuf Khan — a man driven by vengeance and survival in a brutal world. The teaser gives audiences a glimpse of fierce action, sweeping visuals, and moments of raw emotion, with Ashraf delivering the striking line, “My name is Yusuf Khan, this is my story.”
Maya Ali’s brief but impactful appearance — armed and battle-ready — hints at a strong female role in the narrative, promising that she’ll be much more than just a supporting character. The film’s aesthetic, from cold mountain terrains to gritty city chaos, showcases an elevated cinematic experience rarely seen in local productions.
To ensure international-level action, the team brought in renowned stunt coordinator Nick Khan (of Eternals fame) and Hussain Abdullah, known for his work on James Bond projects. The crew trained local stunt professionals over 70 days of intense shooting, during which Bilal Ashraf reportedly performed several dangerous stunts himself — earning bruises and applause alike.
Director Ehteshamuddin called Khan Tumhara “a story that bleeds with passion and purpose,” saying it aims to redefine how Pakistan approaches action cinema. As the Eid season nears, anticipation is surging among audiences eager for a film that blends emotional depth with cinematic spectacle.
