Adriano offers a more explosive option to Ronaldo in attack for Brazil, being blessed with pace and power and a deadly eye for goal. The 24-year-old has scored goals at a prolific rate since his arrival of the international scene, having made his debut back in 2000. He just missed out on the finals four years ago, but was the leading scorer at the 2004 Copa America, netting seven times in eight games. Predominantly left-footed, he currently plies his trade with Internazionale, having been loaned out to Fiorentina and Parma following his initial arrival in Italy five years ago.
