Taufeeq Umar was injured during the net practice and failed to recover from it.

Taufeeq had to sit out of the practice match in East London that ended on Monday and is awaiting the results of an MRI.

Pakistan's team manager Naveed Akram Cheema confirmed that Taufeeq has not trained this week.

PCB would make the decision about the inclusion of Imran Farhat in the squad after reviewing the team management's request in detail.

According to PCB spokesman Taufeeq Umar would be returning to the country on Thursday.
