Pak players can appear in IPL: Indian HC

KARACHI: Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan, Sharat Sabharwal has said that there is no restriction on any Pakistani Cricketer for participating in Indian Premier League.
Addressing Chamber of Commerce and Industry here on Thursday, Sabarwal said that the respective franchises decide about inclusion of a certain player in its team.
He noted that the tour of Pakistani cricket team to India would strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries. However, the Indian Cricket team will decide about its visit to Pakistan keeping in view the prevalent circumstances in the country, he added.
Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan, Sharat Sabharwal said India is not blocking the water of Pakistan and Indus Basin Treaty of 1960 is still being practised.
