National Junior U-21 Hockey Championship

LAHORE: The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has appointed technical officials for the smooth conduct of the 31st National Junior Under-21 Hockey Championship to be played here from January 10 at National Hockey Stadium.
The Punjab Hockey Association (PHA) will organise the event whose final will be played on January 22. “The PHF has appointed an age credentials committee to check the ages of the players,” said a spokesman for the PHF on Wednesday. He said the committee would also carry out facial scrutiny of the players besides conducting bone test of the players in case of a suspicion regarding age of player. Rana Muajhid Ali is the organising secretary of the championship. Following will officiate in the event: Tournament director: Saghir Ahmed Tournament officers: Muhammad Shafique Bhatti, Dr. SA Majid, Hassan Akhtar, Judges, Haroon Saeed, Allah Dad, Haq Nawaz and Rana Muhammad Afzal. Umpires manager: Rashad Mehmood Butt Assistant umpires manager: Dilawar Hussain Bhatti Umpires: Haider Rasool, Muhammad Mushtaq, Anwaar Hussain, Rana Muhammad Liaqat, Kamran Hussain, Shahid Pervaiz, Ghufran Ahmed, Pervaiz Ahmed, Muhammad Asghar and Amir Hamza.
