ICC backed Pakistan stance on sub standard pitch: Ashraf

Pakistan trying for return of the international cricket with help of the International Cricket Council (ICC), PCB chairman said.
He said the ICC has endorsed Pakistan's stand over the sub-standard pitch in the tournament match. Talking to media at Lahore airport after his return from Dubai, PCB chief Zaka Ashraf said that the decision of including senior players in Twenty20 matches or not, was made by the team management and not him. "Victory or defeat are the part of the game even England and Australian teams found lower place than Pakistan in the tournament," Zaka Ashraf said. The possibility of the return of international cricket in Pakistan has brighten and the ICC was trying for it, the cricket board chief added. End. |
