First ODI clash between WI, NZ today
06 July, 2012
West Indies and New Zealand will clash each other in the first one day of five-match series in Kingston today. West Indians have high moral after winning two Twenty20 matches.
West Indies have never won any ODI series since last four year except Bangladesh and Zimbabwe, but WI were successful to level home series against Australia in March. Comeback of Chris Gayle boost moral of Caribbean side, whereas black caps were in trouble after injury of skipper Rose Taylor. Kane Williamson will lead the side first time. Return of Jacob Oram in New Zealand squad is a good news. End. |
