1st T20: Pak beat Aust by 7 wickets

Pakistan beat Australia by 7 wickets in the first of the three T20 match series to avenge its 2-1 defeat by the Aussies in the three match ODI series.
Pakistan decided to field after winning the toss at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Chasing 90-run winning target set by Australia Pakistan scored the required 90 runs in 14.5 overs. Opener Mohammad Hafeez scored 17 runs before being caught by David Hussey off Cummins at the collective score of 30 runs. One-down Nasir Jamshed managed to score 10 runs before he was bowled by Hilfenhaus. Pakistan's third wicket, that of Imran Imran Nazir, fell at 68 runs. He scored 22 runs and White caught him off Watson. Kamran Akmal, not out, scored 31 runs with a single pitched in by Shaoib Malik. End. |
