Talks had not begun!

The interior minister was just trying to cover up the fact that talks with terrorist murderers can never be successful for the government...the Taliban would have to agree to abide by the laws of the country and the constitution ,nothing else can be acceptable to the country!...would the Taliban agree to that?...of course not...they do not even recognize the legitimate elected will never work!....but luckily the minister got an unexpected gift from the Americans in the form of a drone that eliminated the top he can blame the Americans for the failure...get real Pakistan.. the fact is that the first invitation to join the talks had not yet been delivered...we don't even know if the terrorists would have agreed to begin talking?...but as usual in Pakistan it is always easy to blame Americans for anything that goes wrong...talking with mass murderers will not bring peace and the naive attitude that it can be productive will need to be proven wrong...the rest of the world has learned that it is not smart to try and negotiate with terrorists but Pakistan has yet to learn that lesson...

death of hakimullah good for pakistan

one should always negotiate from the position of strength. the death of hakimullah is good for the paksitan and for the world. this will weeken the taliban, there is no difference in pakistani taliban, afgani taliban or for that matter any other terriorist organisation.
they all are one and the same, to differentiate between them is like differentiating between good terrorist and bad terrorist, as there is no good terrorist, all the terrorists are bad.

It is for the good of pakistan , USA is helping or doing a favour to pakistan by killing the terrorist on its land, which is pakistan's responsibility to to its own people and to world to get rid from them.
Nothing u can acheive by talking to them, they want to implement saria in pakistan, there own version of saria. i guess no educated pakistani would like that. talking to them is is trying to straighten a dogs tail. I hope pakistan gets some good understanding and sense and starts targetting/kiiling these terrorist and not talk to them and accept their demands.

Calling this man a martyr insults the very spirit of the word's meaning and implied intent.

If Mehsud was a martyr, so?

That he died in doing God's business is rather an inane precept to start from?

I mean whose God, anyone's God, condones (or) would encourage attacks on civilian populations with the express intent on maiming and killing as many innocent people as possible to force feed a secterian political agenda on the world?

Whose God??????????????????????

Would so fear a little girl that the religio thugs would dispatch a "hit team" to assassinate an elementary school girl?

They(TTP) were said to have buried Mehsud at night to avoid a drone strike on funeral...THEY OUGHT TO KNOW....WE LEARNED IT FROM THEM.....Al Qaeda and it's various franchises and affiliates have been employing that tactic for years, they invented it in Iraq and was refined by TTP who used it with deadly affect in it's early years against tribal leaders who opposed them, the would assassinate the leader and then attack the funeral!

Hakimullah Mehsud and TTP have contributed to the deaths of near 40,000 innocent Pakistanis including national patriots in the Military and Security Forces...a direct attack on Pakistan itself, TRULY...these religio thugs pressing a secterian political agenda are no "God Men" and instead represent one of the most lethal manifestations of terror the world has seen.... AND A DIRECT THREAT TO PAKISTANI SOVEREIGNTY......and to think God is offered up as the excuse and reason....MIND BOGGLING THAT ANYONE COULD BUY INTO THAT NOTION!!
