US government has placed the death pictures of so called sons of Saddam Hussein, Uday and Qusay, on display as reported killed on 22nd July.

US Secretary of State Donald Rumsfield has affirmed the rightness of act of disclosing graphic pictures showing what the US says are the mutilated bodies of Saddam Hussein's sons.

It is on the record, when US soldiers were killed in War Against Terror and media flashed the pictures of dead marines, US along with ICRC agitated and ordained the media not to open them on screen regarding it as humiliation of Geneva Convention of Prisoners of War (PoWs).

What do you think about this act of US, emplacing Saddam Sons’ pictures forth public?

What aims of US rest behind?

Was this among the Primary Objectives of War Against Terror in Iraq?

Are Objectives of the war being fulfilled?

What can be the role of ICRC (International Committee of Red Cross) in post-war situation in Iraq?

Quit Crying

It never ceases to amaze me that third world countries always have something to whine about.

The USA is the only real world power and when we try to make the world a better place, all of you fanatics come out of the woodwork.

I would like to see what would happen if Pakistan, India, Canada, or any other country had the economic and military might of the USA. Probaby would be total anarchy.

As for showing the corpses of the Hussein... The Iraqi people asked for proof of their deaths. We gave it to them. Besides, it ain't none of your business.

Just an opinion

Although I agree that it was not the best thing to do in displaying the pictures of the sons of Saddam Hussein, I must say that in reading a lot of the posts here, most still seem to have doubt as to these 2 men actually being dead. I can see where some felt that showing the pictures would be a sort of proof for many. I am sorry to say that one thing that seems to still amaze me is, although many, many people condemn the USA, as well as the International Policies practiced by the US, many of these same people would leap at the chance to emigrate to the US.

RLF, United Kingdom - 06 August, 2003

Fereidoon, since you hate America so much, you can excercise your right to go someplace else. We won't miss people like you.

Jeff, United Kingdom - 06 August, 2003

The only problem that I see with the US killing the sons of Saddam is that they should have chopped their heads off and fed them to the pigs. That is a befitting death to all muslims.

Bill from Canada

Hey Bill, Two lessons for you. 1) Domination: The act of dominating; exercise of power in ruling; dominion; supremacy; authority; often, arbitrary or insolent sway.

Read throuh that a few times -- arbitrary or insolent??? The US is not picking random 3rd world contries to crush. The middle east has been in turmoil since biblical times...Where was the US then???
2) I have a little history lesson for you, The US isn't putting the Iraqi people in cocentration camps, gassing, burning or even killing them for that matter. So dont try to draw a correlation from the Nazi's to the US. By the way do you like Canada? did you go there to avaoid the draft? Is everyone in Canada this misinformed?

Brian, United Kingdom - 07 August, 2003

tom from Canada

Tom,
There is a very distinct difference in posting pictures as proof that someone is dead and dragging the dead naked and naked bodies of soldiers around town from the back of a pickup truck while the fine citizens are jumping up and down cheering, abusing and desacrating the bodies of sldiers that were fighting for a cause not of their own.

You and Bill from Canada should get together and start a little club.

Stop Whining

During all their bickering and whining, the Useless Nations (UN) wanted more proof, always more proof, and so they gave Saddam all the time he needed to hide all the evidence we would've been able to find (thank you France). Now we give them proof that two of the most heinous criminals on earth have been killed and they whine about that too. The UN will never be satisfied, and will never ever serve any practical purpose but to ignore massive crimes (Rwanda) and defend criminals from justice (Iraq).

The Third World Isnt anything to emulate

How can you call us liars,We Did not lie,not after we lost 3000 fellow AMERICANS.
Further,When You get YOUR own country as well put toghether as the US,as unfearful to HELP OUR ENEMIES,As Able and willing to Be the "world's policemen",As Wanting to make OTHER NATIONS as Great as ours,Feeding the World..FREE!!!,Contributing Humane Aid,THEN you can belittle us.

jeez non US bashing US

the jiberish of the US breaking laws. Canada can't even keep there own sport afloat in there own country. Now they want to tell us how we break Geneva rules. Lets say we did break some rules. What buisness is it of Canada's (outsider looking in)If you would get off your butt and join in the fight to make this a better work

FRED, Pakistan - 08 August, 2003

A cursory glance suggests that this is the site for practising illiterates everywhere, but at least those from Pakistan and other eastern states have the excuse of English not being their first language. What excuse do all the Americans who've posted comments on this site have for their appalling spelling, grammar and indeed their general lack of education? I thought America was supposed to be the most advanced country in the world? So why is it that so many of its citizens can't even construct a sentence in their own language and, judging from the intellectually and factually retarded comments on this posting site, read a book even?

US People are our Friends. It's the Government we don't like

Now let's get a few things straight.
1st 3000 Americans did not die in the WTC. People from around the world died that day. I think the total was 2500 Americans or thereabout and 500 people from other countries.
Why has US been attacked over the years and including sept 11th. Because you believe in freedom? Far from it… Until the US has a respectable foreign policy and you stop attacking countries like Vietnam, Cambodia, Guatemala Grenada, Lebanon, Libya, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Panama only to mention a few. Your government will be under this pressure. As for attacking countries and cleaning them up. How did the clean up go In Japan after your government murdered over 200,000 innocent civilians

Tom, Canada - 12 August, 2003

US People are our Friends. It's the Government we don't like

Part 2
and people are still dying from that attack over ½ century later. Notice how I say your government. Most US criticizes would run from there country if they really knew what there government was up to.
Lastly Canada and many other countries are very involved in the fight against terrorism. We just didn't support an unlawful invasion

Tom, Canada - 12 August, 2003

US People are our Friends. It's the Government we don't like

Part 3
And yes you're not getting one red penny from the oil however the oil market is much more stable now. (One of the reasons why this all took place) And if the US is so Holy and Helpful to countries around the world why don't they spend 1/15th of what this Iraq war cost to help Aids In Africa or takeout other more evil dictators around the world. Because it doesn't benefit your government! We don't hate Americans we just hate your government. Except Clinton. Notice how it was pretty quite around the world when he was there. That's because he has more respect for world leaders then Regan or the Bush boys. As did Carter.

Tom

Tom, Canada - 12 August, 2003

Damn straight we're right!

We are not "terrorists" or "evil doers" as most mid-east people seem to think! Our authorities do not torture, maim, or rape our citizens! The pictures of our dead and captive servicemen as well as those of Daniel Pearl had no place being shown to the world. The pictures of qusay and uday were relevant in that the Iraqi people need to know those two monsters were dead in order to get on with their life. Be gratefull that Pervez M. decided to work with us rather than against us!!!

God's Wrath

These Colors Do Not Run

to all you whiners out there...get over the fact that the USA is doing what is the best the world as a whole. Not just ourselves. Have any of you ever seen the big picture of how the ppl are treated in Iraq, For God's sake they get killed for trying to live free like the Freedom most of us have , and all too many ppl take advantage of.Just like those human shields from the USA that went to Iraq, they should have to stay there and live in it until the country is free, then send them to another corrupt, evil dictator, wouldn't be nice to send these ppl back to 5 years ago and have them try to live under Saddam's rules
