US government has placed the death pictures of so called sons of Saddam Hussein, Uday and Qusay, on display as reported killed on 22nd July.

US Secretary of State Donald Rumsfield has affirmed the rightness of act of disclosing graphic pictures showing what the US says are the mutilated bodies of Saddam Hussein's sons.

It is on the record, when US soldiers were killed in War Against Terror and media flashed the pictures of dead marines, US along with ICRC agitated and ordained the media not to open them on screen regarding it as humiliation of Geneva Convention of Prisoners of War (PoWs).

What do you think about this act of US, emplacing Saddam Sonsí pictures forth public?

What aims of US rest behind?

Was this among the Primary Objectives of War Against Terror in Iraq?

Are Objectives of the war being fulfilled?

What can be the role of ICRC (International Committee of Red Cross) in post-war situation in Iraq?

Reader Comments:

Victory Truimph

USA forgot to honk the victory truimph right after occupying Iraq. Now when the people who are talking about the whereabouts of weapons of mass destruction, suddenly, sons of Saddam are killed and there we go, Pres. Bush and the gang are honking their victory truimph...

Only solution

What do you think about this act of US, emplacing Saddam Sons' pictures forth public?
I think that the culture of the Iraqi people demands they see proof, so we give them proof and they use it to say bad things about us.

What aims of US rest behind?
Freedom for all people, not just Muslims, and security for us.

Was this among the Primary Objectives of War Against Terror in Iraq?
Yes, the sons of Saddam were a primary objective.

Are Objectives of the war being fulfilled?
We think so.

What can be the role of ICRC (International Committee of Red Cross) in post-war situation in Iraq?
We no longer truck the ICRC. They are corrupt. They steal from the very people they are supposed to be helping.

1. Bush adminstration are infact worst criminals holding White House and world hostage with propaganda deception and lies. I am still in doubt that these are pictures of Saddam Hussein sons. This all come at the time when Bush administration is facing the worst crisis about lying for going to war with Iraq.

2. Shut up the criticism of opponents and give boost to their declining polls. Americans are so naive they believe in all sorts of baseless stories.

3. Absolutely not. WMD which are not found so far as they really do not exit.

4. Yes. Americans get hold of Iraqi oil reserves. American corportions are getting rebuilding contracts which are in billions of dollars and this is payback time for Bush and Dick for kick backs. Certainly all objectives of war are fullfilled at the price of innocent human lives. 5. Bush is not ready to give any sort of access to Red cross or UN as they now own Iraq after victory. Bush is a brutal cold bloded killed who do not hesitate to kill a 14 year old innocent kid. These conservatives Republicans sure are devils own beloved sons.

butsh

it has been observed that US uses international orgs as its tool in the tool box.so if one sees to ICRC it will be a confusion. USA can be called as WAR CRIMINAL as it has gone against Geneva Convention of PoWS' article 12and 13.so american people should ponder and c a bit more in depth while putting their ego aside a bit. what face lies behind the veils of present US govt. even US people hate it now. God's eternal systems. THEY PLAYED A STRATEGY,AND ALLAH BLESSED SECRET ONE. AND ALLAH IS THE BEST AMONG STRATEGY CREATOR

What's The aims Behind of This All darama Of US

What's the aim behind this all drama of Bush, not only Bush, but UNO , International Committee of Red Cross. They are dancing on the finger tips of Bush. In my opinion, Bush is creating a bad track for the peoples of USA. People in America can not even speak against their Govt as they used to. I am Afraid to say that this is the end of so called freedom of speech in USA.....

Zulnoorain, Pakistan - 25 July, 2003

1.It is wrong!Irrespective of their lifestyle in past, as a democratic body, US administration, has got no right to give Goric details(thereby, gloating!) of death of two human beings.
2.Aims of US is quite clear. They want to rob the Iraqi men of their manhood and make them sissy and accept all atrocities commited on them!
3.Could be.
4.Objectives of the war had been "having the finger in the honey pot", This time honey pot being Oil, absolutely shamefull!!
5.International Committee of Red Cross is a wonderful machine, It needs a honest person to drive it!! Then, it would yeild results!

The FORKED Tongue !

Saddam's two boys were great
villains, their place was in the docks and not on the slab
as the Americans placed them.
Now they're trying to justify
their stupid action by trying
to twist words.

Khalid Rahim, Canada - 29 July, 2003

Kids

I think it's a crime that US displayed the photos of those two bastards from Iraq. US Government and Media complained when countries around the world did the same thing. I guess in the regular US fashion you must "Do as I say. Not as I do."
as for objectives. Yes. Remove Sadam and his two Evil children plus anyone who supported his views. Was this right even legal or moral. No of course not, however the US government has been committing more war crimes then any other country for years... Hence why they do not want to sign the Canadian led war crimes agreement. (THEY WOULD BE TROUBLE

US is doing very bad at this edge of time. being the pole of unipolar world many responsibilities lie to its commencement. US people are taking look upon intl matters through their own conscience and challenging the accuracy of their own media. this is a positive sign. so intl community should unite more to keep US on track to follow Geneva conevention ad ICRC should maintain its reputation as it did in past.

Cock and Bull story of Geneva Convention

Well said. It goes hand-in-hand with the American veto of placing UN peacekeepers between Israeli forces and Palestinian civilians. Double standards to the hilt!

Fereidoon, United Kingdom - 05 August, 2003

What if US pulled out

What if the U.S. disappeared tomorrow? We would be back to fighting and killing ourselves within the hour.

Abas, Canada - 06 August, 2003

Stop Crying...

Stop your crying. Saddams sons got what any damn terrorist that chooses to mess with the United States deserves. We can only be so lucky if Saddam himself is next.

Pissed off Yankee, United Kingdom - 06 August, 2003

If the pictures were not presented, most, if not all of you would be screaming for proof. Well, the administration beat you to the punch.

kashyyk, United Kingdom - 06 August, 2003

it's a criminal act........

i think it's a damn shame that you can't watch the uncle floyd show in syndication any more. the people who run this country have their priorities all outta whack.....

dino, - 06 August, 2003

Most Agree

Most Americans agree that Bush lied and it's all about oil, wealth and world domination, however the press is controlled by the millitary industrial complex. Please don't blame ordinary Americans for policies over which they have no control.

Matt Brown, United Kingdom - 06 August, 2003

two brothers

As an American that uses only logic to see the world, the displaying of the dead brothers was the only way to convince most of the Iraqies that they were truly dead. It has been the only display done, so get over it. I guess you people over there would rather us to mind our own business and just let the murder and rape keep going from the regime that was there.
Personally, after seeing how a lot of the world hating us and not appreciating what we do for the world, I would like to see us get out of the world policing business. I would like to see us quit giving our money away to thankless countries that take our money and still curse us. Talk about the dog biting the hand that feeds them...

GS, United Kingdom - 06 August, 2003

Saddam, along with his sons, were the Hitler's of our time! They kill many Iraqi people. I don't blame US: Iraq is more free than ever!

Muhammed, Indonesia - 06 August, 2003

cock and bull story?

You people are too damn stupid to recognize why we showed pictures of those abominations of humanity after they were dead. If we hadn't, you would have cried foul and thought that we were liars, and that Sadddam's sons were still alive. So we prove it to you with pictures and dental records, and you screech about the inhumanity of it all. The U.S. is doing the world a service by getting rid of a sadistic dictator and his regime, and all you can do is cry about it. You should be glad that we do what we do. If your stinking country was ruled by a despot as evil as Saddam, we'd probably come rescue your sorry ungrateful people. So stop with the criticism of the United States, and be grateful for our help. (By the way, we're not stealing Iraqi oil either.)
