NAB to expedite probe into Arsalan case

ISLAMABAD: A joint investigation team constituted by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has decided to hold proceedings on daily basis to expedite the inquiry into Arsalan Iftikhar case.
The team also decided to formally seek cooperati n and assistance from foreign governments and relevant law enforcement agencies for verification of foreign documents and collection of evidence.
An official statement issued on Monday stated that the investigation team constituted to inquire into the Arslan Iftikhar case had met to finalise the future course of action in the light of documents and information received from Malik Riaz and record obtained from the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
The statement said the team had decided to hold proceedings on daily basis to accelerate the process and dispose of the inquiry as early as possible.
