ISLAMABAD: President Musharraf expressing his satisfaction over surrendering of Lal Masjid students said that no more talks will be held with the Lal Masjid Administration and neither would they be given any concessions. Ghazi brothers would have to surrender at all costs.

He expressed these views while chairing a high level meeting ON Wednesday. The meeting was attended by PM Shaukat Aziz, Minister for Information Muhammad Durrani, State Minister Zafar Iqbal Warraich  and other civil and military officers.

During the meeting, latest situation of Lal Masjid was discussed.

President expressed his satisfaction that a large number of Jamia Hafsa and Lal Masjid students were surrendering themselves to the authorities and were taking undue advantage of the government.

President Musharraf addressing the meeting said that Government would utilised all resources to maintain its writ and Ghazi brothers have to surrender if they don’t law in their own hands, they would be dealt strictly.

President Musharraf also directed the concerned departments that the government would bear all education expenses of the students who are surrendering.

Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz told the President that he was satisfied with the meeting with Maulana Fazl ur Rehman in this regard.

Sources reveal that meeting reviewed on all the aspects of the incidents that took place around Lal Masjid and was decided that Government will not compromise on its writ at any cost.

The meeting agreed that Security would be further intensified as it is the Capital of the City.

The meeting expressed grave concern over losses of innocent lives including Security Forces personnel stressing that such acts of violence will not put the Government one inch backwards in its fight against terrorism while responsible’ will be severely punished.
