LAHORE, November 20 (Online): Former captain of Pakistan’s cricket team and leader of Tehrik-e-Insaf Imran Khan will celebrate his 53rd birthday on 25th of November.

Imran Khan who was born on 25th November, 1952 in Lahore was the Captain of the team which won the 1992 cricket world cup. He started his career as test cricketer in 1971 against England in Birmingham while his last match was against Sri Lanka in 1991-92 in Faisalabad.

In his 126 test innings Imran Khan made 3807 runs with the average of 37.69, six centuries and eighteen half centuries are included in it. His highest score in the test matches is 136. In the bowling department, Imran Khan took 362 wickets for 8258 runs with the average of 22.81.

Imran Khan started his one day international carrier in 1974 against England in Nottingham, while his last one day match was against England in the final of World Cup 1992. In his one day international carrier, he scored 3709 runs with the average of 33.41 in 151 innings of 175 matches, one century and nineteen half centuries are included in it. In the bowling department he took 182 wickets for conceding 4844 runs with the average of 26.61.

Imran Khan who is currently busy in his campaign for earthquake affectees will celebrate his birthday with simplicity and sobriety .
