ISLAMABAD, October 10 (Online): Muttahida Jihad Council during special meeting on Sunday decided to suspended Jihad activities for the time being in earthquake affected areas of Indian Held Kashmir.

Muttahida Jihad Council, chaired by Syed Salahudin, was held here to condole over the loss of lives following the earthquake in Jammu Kashmir, Azad Kashmir and Pakistan.

Participants of the meeting expressed their deep sorrow and sympathies with Pakistani people and prayed to overcome this critical situation.

It was also decided in the meeting that no effort would be spared to help out the affectees while Mujahideen have been directed to take measures to contribute in the restoration of affectees and Mujahideen would also postpone their activities for time being in earthquake-affected area of Jammu and Kashmir.
