KABUL: Australian government would provide seven million dollars as assistance to Afghanistan, Australian Foreign Minister Alexander Donald was quoted as saying.
According to Radio Azadi, $ 5m would be for reconstruction programme and $ 2m would be allocated for forthcoming parliamentary elections.
Last week, Australian government announced to send one hundred and fifty army personnel to Afghanistan to help maintain law and order situation during the elections.
The Australian government also pledged to send two hundred more troops to Afghanistan in Spring next year.
