QUETTA, July 08 (Online): 46 people fell unconscious after taking unhygienically made confectionery products at the Ibrahim Zai Colony, Quetta .
As the details go Abdul Malik a local resident distributed sweets in his neighborhood, which resulted in this incident .
The victims were hurried to Civil Hospital Quetta and were saved by opportune provision of medical aid .
Victims included Shah Zur, Noor Zadi, Said Noor Jan, Saleem Tariq and others .
When contacted, public in general was of the view, that negligence of shopkeepers selling months old stale confectionery products is the main reason behind such incidents and resultant spread of diseases in the area .
They appealed to the provincial government to take strict action against those involved, to avert such future happenings .
