ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Naurez Shakoor Thursday said the new electric motorbike is an addition to Pakistan motorbike industries.
"This is a proof of capabilities of our local industrialists that they can complete their regional as well as international counterparts in this field through such types of revolutions," he expressed these views, while inaugurating the first electric motor bike of Pakistan in Sahiwal on Thursday.
The new electric bike has rechargeable battery and can cover about 40-50 Km distance once battery is charged. It is environment free as it is free of petrol and gas. It has capacity of two persons. It is being manufactured up to international standard by M.S group of industries.
The minister appreciated M.S group of industries for introducing electric bike first time in Pakistan. He said that such efforts should be continued in this to make Pakistan leading exporter of electric bikes in the region.
He added that this bike with its state art of art qualities will be fruitful to meet the growing demands of local markets. He said that this bike one of the best bikes of Pakistan and is quality of environment friendly makes it distinguished from other local bikes. He stated that its cost-benefit ratio is favorable for its users and expressed hope that this bike will be find some place in local as well as regional markets. |
