ZTBL allocates Rs 4,400 bn for Tractor Loans to facilitate farmers

ISLAMABAD: Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) has allocated Rs 4,400 billion for Tractor Loans to facilitate farmers.

With a view to facilitate the farmers, grant of Tractor Loans in the shortest possible time and to expedite the delivery of tractors, ZTBL decided to extend the scope of one window operation to the grant of Tractor Loans also.

However, farmers can get the loan on every Monday and Tuesday under one window operation.

Earlier the Tractor Loans were released under general credit program of the Bank.

It is pertinent to mention that it is first time that tractor lending is being extended under one window operation.

ZTBL has also allocated Rs 17,972 billion for farm credit loans to be disbursed during Kharif season (April-September)
