Zardari sets up committee to iron out differences with PML-Q

25 October, 2012

LAHORE: President Asif Ali Zardari has set up 4-member coordination committee tasked with narrowing down the differences and further improving relations with PML-Q.

As per private TV channel certain differences were existing between PPP and PML-Q since some time back and some elements were conspiring to undermine PPP-PML-Q alliance by fanning these differences.

The president while taking immediate notice of the conspiracies set up a 4-member committee to iron out the differences. Committee comprises information minister Qamar Zaman Kaira, PPP Punjab president Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo, federal minister Nazar Muhammad Gondal and former president PPP Punjab, Imtiaz Safdar Warriach.

The committee will remain in constant contact with PML-Q and work towards reconciling the differences in a befitting manner.

End.
