ISLAMABAD: Warplanes blitzed terrorist targets in North Waziristan on Sunday killing at least 16 insurgents and levelling seven hideaways.

An Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) hand-out said that these strategic achievements were made after successful air strikes in the suburbs of Mirali. The ISPR further said that a large cache of explosives was also destroyed in the air strikes.

Meanwhile, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said that operation Zarb-e-Azb will be continue till complete elimination of terrorists.

Talking to media in Sialkot on Sunday, he said operation Zarb-e-Azb and Pakistan Army enjoy full support of the nation.
