Zafar meets people during mass contact drive in Srinagar

SRINAGAR: In occupied Kashmir, APHC leader and Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement Chairman, Zafar Akbar Butt visited Natipora, Batamaloo, Pamposh Colony, Azad Basti and other areas of Srinagar as part of his mass contact programme.
According to Kashmir Media Service, he was accompanied by party leaders and activists including Molvi Mushtaq Ahmad Butt, Molvi Abdul Rouf, Molvi Aijaz Ahmad and Nasir Mushtaq.
He interacted with locals and with those whose relatives were killed during the past over 24 years.
Zafar paid glowing tributes to the martyrs and vowed to continue the mission of the martyrs who laid their lives for the resolution of the Kashmir dispute.
The APHC leader condemned the killing of Azam Farooq Khan, who was found dead with torture marks on his body. He said that slain youth has played a leading role in the Kashmir freedom struggle during which he was jailed and imprisoned several times.
