Pakistan, an amazing country, has found itself recently facing a new buffoon called Dr Tahirul Qadri, who was away from Pakistan and enjoying Canadian nationality for six years. He came back to create mayhem in Pakistan recently when he instigated a long march. There are already a lot of buffoons here who have damaged Pakistan massively. Corruption, inflation, unemployment, terrorism and many other crises have engulfed Pakistan and now one more joker has emerged to create further crises for the nation. Nobody has fully understood yet what foreign agenda he has brought to Pakistan. It was amusing when Tahirul Qadri claimed to have 40 million people in his long march whereas it could easily be seen, and law enforcement agencies including other institutions gave the real facts and figures of the long march, that the people in the long march were more or less 40,000 and not many more. It is a pity that such priests are not only misguiding the people while the people themselves are guilty as they are following such priests blindly. Tahirul Qadri has rejected the videos on social media in which he was seen to be speaking against the blasphemy law on a foreign TV channel's interview and in another video, he was misguiding his followers. However, what about those videos in which his followers are kneeling and bowing at his feet? Such priests who chant slogans of Almighty Allah and His Apostle are the real enemies of the people, who have to understand their cleverness. The way Tahirul Qadri appeared and took his long march to Islamabad, staging a sit-in for four days and speaking out against every ruler, especially the prime minster, to only abruptly agree and embrace all of them seems to be only a drama. It all depends on the nation to decide who it wishes to choose for governance - either priests like Tahirul Qadri who keep telling lies or any other politician! HAFIZ MUHAMMAD NOMAN
