Woman killed over 'second marriage'

KARACHI: A woman was killed while three bodies of men were found from different parts of the metropolis on Saturday.
According to Steel Town police station officials, the woman was killed inside her house situated in Faqir Colony.
The three sons of her first husband slaughtered Shamim Sultan. Her ex-husband opposed her second marriage, and thus wanted to take revenge.
The culprits are yet to be arrested, while further investigation is underway.
Meanwhile, a supporter of the Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) was found dead from Gulshan-e-Hadeed near National Highway, within the limits of Steel Town.
Mohammad Ali, 47, son of Rab Nawaz, was kidnapped and shot dead by unidentified men, before being dumped at the said place. The body was taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for examination after death, and later handed over to his heirs.
According to ASWJ spokesperson, Nawaz was the brother-in-law of ASWJ President, Sukkar region, Maulana Ramzan Naumani. He was on his way to Hyderabad from his hometown Sukkar on Friday, when unidentified persons kidnapped him, and later dumped his body after killing him, he added.
Separately, a shot dead body of a man was found from Rexor Lance within the jurisdiction of Pak Colony police station.
Police said the victim was identified as 41-year-old Prem Gul, son of Ahmed Chandio, who hailed from Larkana. He was kidnapped and shot to death at the said place. The motive behind the incident is yet to be learned, while further investigation is in progress.
Another man was found dead inside his house situated in Ghazi Goth, within the remits of Sacchal police station.
The deceased was identified as Chaudhry Aslam, 42, son of Mohammad Siddiq. Police said he was killed after hitting being hit by a sharp material on his head. Aslam's ex-wife was now married to Waqas Raja; and Raja is believed to be the prime suspect in the murder.
