Why only Musharraf?... By Zahid

06 January, 2014

Musharraf, once the symbol of power, pride and authority, is now in hot water. Seven years ago, when he was in power, no one could have ever expected that he would be termed a traitor. Even a few months back, when he was in self-imposed exile, he was expecting to be the only popular leader in the country but the reality was exposed after his arrival at Karachi airport. It is a good omen that a retired general can be accountable for breaching the law. The politicians who supported him at the time of his coup must also be brought to the court.

I think these were the politicians who boosted this general to extend his period because they were gaining their malicious means by supporting him. Chaudhry Shujaat and Pervaiz Ellahi should be handcuffed by the independent judiciary for their support to a dictator who breached the law of this land.
