Pakistan has sunk into an immoral, violent abyss. It has become a grey caricature of its previous self, distorted and de-shaped by incompetent and greedy governments, military takeovers and extremist mindsets. The country has been plagued by a crippling illness and, one by one, its citizens are being eliminated. After the routine murders of Ahmedis, and this nation's silence on the matter, it is Shias who are now being picked off by the hundreds in what is being called a 'genocide' by the media. Hazaras are being killed in large numbers and so far not a single terrorist or terrorist leader has been captured and brought to book. Men, women and innocent children have died because our law enforcement agencies and legal system can do nothing to stop the extremists from getting their own way. I have lost all hope for this country. There really may not be a country left to save now. MASHEED KHAN
