Water shortage... By Hassan

19 June, 2012

I am a resident of Malir Town, Karachi. The people of my area are facing a problem in the supply of clean water. We are forced to buy mineral water and purchase water tankers for our daily water usage. This brings dual problems to the residents of Malir. One, not all of us can afford mineral water yet are compelled to buy it. Two, the tanker water is usually unfiltered and unhealthy for use. I hope the concerned authorities would look into the matter and come to our rescue; in this case, it is the supply of adequate, clean water to the residents of Malir.
